Speakers for Schools is a UK charity launched in 2011 helping state schools inspire their students and broaden horizons through access to the insights, experiences and expertise of today’s leading figures through free talks and more — free of charge.

Inspiring the Future

 Inspiring the Future give young the opportunity to meet face-to-face a wide range of role models doing interesting, exciting jobs to inspire and motivate them. Using their online match-making platform, they connect schools and colleges with appropriate volunteers from a range of sectors and professions that match their particular requirements.

Careers and Enterprise Company

The Careers & Enterprise Company exists to prepare and inspire young people for the fast-changing world of work by creating career opportunities and connections to potential employers. The Careers and Enterprise Company works on the ground with these schools and colleges to help create high-impact careers opportunities for young people.

British Chambers of Commerce

The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) sits at the heart of a business network that spans the length and breadth of the UK, with links to markets across the world. Chambers of Commerce provide a voice to the business communities they represent, amplifying their priorities and concerns.

Social Mobility Business Partnership

The SMBP is dedicated to broadening access to the legal and accountancy professions by delivering work insight and skills training and ongoing coaching support to secondary state school students from low income backgrounds.

Young Enterprise

Young Enterprise make the connection between school and the world of work, enabling young people to develop the knowledge and attitudes they need to succeed, building on 8 key skills: Communication, Confidence, Financial Capability, Initiative, Organisation, Problem-solving, Teamwork and Resilience.

upReach

upReach are a charity that works in close partnership with employers and universities to improve access to professional jobs by supporting disadvantaged undergraduates with an intensive programme of support that broadens horizons, raises aspirations, builds career knowledge and develops key employability skills, while providing work experience and networking opportunities.

Clean Sheet

Clean Sheet is a charity with one purpose: to support people with convictions into employment, training or volunteering. 

They work with their Employers to guide their members into sustainable employment or the steps to progress into work. 

They have a National Directory of Employers who agree to actively consider their members on their merits and skills – looking to productive & safe futures rather than the past.
